The charts below show employment rates of males and females of different ages and the average age of their youngest child in the UK in 2008. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Introduction
The bar charts illustrate how many British males and females were in the workforce in 2008 and their youngest child’s age.
Overview
Overall, there were more 26-59-year-old female workers than males but more younger and older males than their female counterparts; meanwhile, male workers had more children aged from 6 to 21 than their female counterparts.
Body paragraph 1
As for employees of different genders, the 16-25 group had 20% of males and around 14% of females. Roughly 65% of the British over 60 were employed, with males and females accounting for approximately 38% and 26% respectively. In contrast, while around 82% of 35-49-year-old females were employed, 78% of males had a job. Females in their fifties represented 80% and males constituted 70%. The percentage of 26-34-year-old females was 70%, slightly more than that of males, at about 65%.

Regarding the age of employees’ youngest child, 60% of males and females had a child no older than five years old. While the figure for males whose youngest child was in the 6-10, 11-15 and 16-20 groups was the same, at 75%, that for females ranged from 55% to 65%. Males and females whose child were in their twenties took up around 70%.
