The graph below shows the number of overseas visitors who came to the UK for different purposes between 1989 and 2009. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Introduction
The line graph illustrates how many foreigners went to Britain to do business, take a holiday, and visit friends and relatives from 1989 to 2009.
Overview
Overall, the number of people travelling to the UK for these three purposes experienced a rising trend, albeit to widely varying degrees.
Body Paragraph 1
The number of holiday makers was by far the largest in 1989, at roughly 7.5 million, and then it soared to 12 million in 1994 before dropping to approximately 7.5 million in 1999. After that, the figure increased dramatically back to 12 million in 2009.
Body Paragraph 2
Regarding the other two types of visitors, around 4 million people went on business trips to the UK in 1989, but the number peaked at 9 million in 2007 and had reached 8 million by 2009. Similarly, seeing friends and relatives was the reason for around 3.8 million people to go to the UK initially. The number climbed gradually to about 4.5 million in 1999 and rapidly to 8 million in 2007. There was a moderate decline to 7 million in the end.
