Introduction
The line graph illustrates how many tonnes of timber, pulp and paper were produced in a country in Europe from 1980 to 2000.
Overview
Overall, there was a rising trend in the quantity of these three products, albeit to widely varying degrees. Meanwhile, timber was the most popular product in 1980 but two decades later paper was produced more than the others.
Body Paragraph 1
The amounts of timber and pulp experienced fluctuations during the period in question. More specifically, in 1980, the quantity of timber was by far the highest, at 6 million tonnes. Then, it increased noticeably to 10 million in 1985 before falling back to the 1980 figure in 1995. After that, the quantity continued to rose, reaching 8 million in 2000. Similarly, the figure for pulp grew marginally from 4 million in 1980 to 5 million in 1985, but had fallen back to the 1980 figure by 1990. Since then, the quantity climbed, and significantly to just over 6 million in 2000.
Body Paragraph 2
On the other hand, paper was the only product whose figure kept growing, starting from only around 2 million tonnes. By 2000, it had soared to 10 million. What needs to be mentioned is that the quantity of paper overtook that of pulp and timber in around 1987 and 1993.
