The graph and chart below give information about the number of new graduates and their employment in the UK from 1992 to 2002. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Introduction
The given line graph and bar chart illustrate the number of fresh college graduates and their employment status in the UK between 1992 and 2002.
Overview
Overall, there was an increase in the number of UK graduates over the whole period. It is also clear from the bar chart that a majority of UK students selected professional fields after graduation.
Body paragraph 1
In the line graph, the number of graduates began at 165,000 in 1992 and then soared to a peak of 195,000 in 1997. By the end of this period, it dropped remarkably to 180,000 students. Compared with 1992, the year 2002 witnessed a 15,000-graduate increase.
Body paragraph 2
Regarding the state of employment in the bar chart, the professional careers which initially showed a high employment rate saw a gradual decline each five years, from nearly 60% to around 40%. A similar trend can be observed in managerial and administrative related positions, with the figure standing at 20% in 1992 and dropping by 3% 10 years later. By contrast, a marginal increase occurred to careers in clerical and secretarial fields, from 9% in 1992 to nearly 20% in 2002. Additionally, the figures for sales and other careers remained relatively low, ranging from about 5% to 10% respectively.
