The charts below show the proportion of graduates with different qualifications working in one engineering company in 1980 and 2008. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Introduction
The two pie charts compare the statistics on the educational backgrounds of graduates in an engineering company in 1980 and 2008.
Overview
In general, graduates with either Science or Art master’s degrees represented the largest proportion in both years. Also, we can see that the percentages of graduates majoring in science were consistently higher than those graduated with art degrees for all three educational levels.
Body paragraph 1
In 1980, over 40% of the graduates in this company had master’s degrees, with approximately two-thirds and one-third of them enrolling in science and art courses at universities respectively. The population of graduates with PhDs and first degrees were similar, each accounting for roughly one-third of the total population of graduate employees. However, the discrepancy between science and art graduate employees with PhD degrees was much larger, showing a 23% gap. In contrast, this figure was only 9% among graduates with first degrees.
Body paragraph 2
In 2008, the ratio of master graduate employees almost levelled off, while the proportion of PhD graduates significantly increased by 10% reaching 37%. Meanwhile, the rate of graduates with first degrees, regardless of their majors, dropped correspondingly by 11%. The total percentage of science graduates declined moderately, but they still amounted to 70% of the graduate employees in that company.
