Introduction
The maps illustrate the current layout of the campus and the plan for its redevelopment.
Overview
Overall, it is clear that the principal change of the campus will be the expansion of most buildings and the addition of a road and a car park.
Body paragraph 1
Now there are two east-west roads: one is at the southmost, with its western end slightly bending north where some woods are nearby, while the other runs through the campus in the middle. This road and a north-south walkway divide the campus into four sections, with a car park in the northeast and another wood in the north. Across the road, a biochemistry building and a lab are opposite the tree area, while a genetic building and a smaller lab are facing the car park. The bio-tech building is located to the south of the genetic building.
Body paragraph 2
In the plan, most trees in the north will be removed to make way for a new genetic building and a bioimaging block, and the car park will be solely used for students. While the original genetic building will expand southward and double its size, the biotech building will extend eastward in an H shape. The space in the southwest where the trees grow is to be divided by a new northwest-southeast road, with a new car park for staff and the expanded biochemistry building along it.
