The leaders or directors of organizations are often older people, but some people think that young people can also be a leader.To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Introduction

Typically, leadership roles are reserved for older individuals who are believed to have extensive experience. However, I posit that the younger generation is equally competent to assume these responsibilities.

Body paragraph 1

Firstly, effective leaders demonstrate the ability to navigate and make well-informed decisions for organizational advancement. In today’s rapidly evolving society where new technologies and ideas emerge incessantly, younger individuals excel in keeping pace with the latest trends and are often more attuned to the dynamic nature of this environment. For instance, the monumental strides in artificial intelligence have transformed entire industries and presented unprecedented business opportunities. The agility to comprehend and leverage such advancements, however, may not be an apparent strength of older individuals.

Body paragraph 2

Furthermore, younger leaders are prone to establish more desirable relationships with employees. Shifting away from traditional corporate hierarchies, contemporary management favors a flexible structure which allows for a more open and communicative environment. This could be facilitated by the narrow age range as leaders and employees have relatable working and living styles so that they engage in smoother communications more easily.

Body Paragraph 3

Certainly, skepticism often surrounds young leaders due to the perceived lack of experience, particularly in identifying market trends or managing teams. However, these challenges can be mitigated by seeking counsel from or hiring experts in specific fields as they can better handle specialized areas, whether devising marketing strategies or managing human resources. With such guidance, a leader is not required to be experienced in every facet.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while experience and wisdom often come with age and are valuable assets in leadership, young leaders usually possess the qualities of agility, adaptivity, and innovativeness which are demanded by the evolving nature of today’s organization. Thus, young people are equally qualified to steer an organization toward success.
