Introduction
The intense drives for success breed many ideas about how a person can achieve the accomplishment. While some people are inclined to attribute reaching personal goals mostly to fortune and luck, I can hardly approve of this opinion.
Body paragraph 1
Admittedly, luck plays a crucial role in guiding one to achieve aims since anything, whether it be success or failure, has probabilities. For instance, Bill Gates attained the first barrel of gold exactly when IBM required a PC operating system to make progress. Otherwise, his talents could hardly be proved. However, we cannot ignore it is the capability to grasp opportunities rather than merely the fortune to encounter that really counts for a person to realize dreams. Those who reach the peak are actually talented ones in their own fields instead of the lucky ignoramus as we have supposed.
Body paragraph 2
As a matter of fact, efforts and determination, in most cases, exert a more essential impact on final success. For one thing, tremendous endeavours push a person ahead of others, accumulating experiences and improving capabilities, which are both the prerequisites for achieving final goals. Therefore, a truly diligent person can seize any tiny chance and even exploit opportunities to take steps towards success while the idle just admire those accomplished with envy of their good fortune. For another, being resolute not only means willingness to pour into one hundred percent commitment, but also brings courage to overcome any barrier in the path to the final triumph. Without solid determination, a person would not be motivated to insist steadfastly at all costs until fulfilling the aim.
Conclusion
In conclusion, although luck is definitely an important factor, I contend that there is nothing more crucial to success than the driving force of determination and efforts. Luck serves as the mirror to manifest capabilities, without which nothing can be reflected, let alone achieving final goals.
