The chart below shows the global sales of different types of digital games between 2000 and 2006. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Introduction
The bar chart illustrates the changes in the annual sales of various kinds of digital games worldwide from 2000 to 2006.
Overview
Overall, while there was a downward trend in the sales of console games, the figures for other types experienced a rise albeit to widely varying degrees.
Body Paragraph 1
The global sales of console games were just below 6 billion dollars in the first year of 21st century. After that, the figure had fallen gradually to 3 billion dollars by 2006 and then this game became the least popular in the last two years.
Body Paragraph 2
In contrast, handheld games were the best-seller whose sales were by far the highest of all these games throughout the period. The figure was around 11 billion in 2000, and then rose significantly to 16 billion in 2004 before keeping stable for a year. In 2006, the sales were 18 billion dollars. Interestingly, online games, which started to be sold in 2001, remained the least favourite until 2005 but saw the fastest increase from 1 billion to 9 billion dollars in the end. Mobile games, the last one launched in the market constituted a small market share although there was a continuous rise from approximately 1 billion to 7 billion dollars.
