Introduction
The table illustrates how many barrels of oil were produced daily by four nations in Africa: Nigeria, Chad, Congo and Ivory Coast between 2000 and 2004.
Overview
Overall, Chad and Ivory Coast saw an upward trend in the quantity of oil production, whereas the figure for Congo experienced an opposite trend. Meanwhile, there were fluctuations in Nigeria.
Body Paragraph 1
Of the four countries, Nigeria produced by far the largest amount of oil each day throughout the entire period, starting at 2,000,000 barrels. The daily producing amount, however, increased slightly to 2,100,000 barrels one year later prior to dropping to 1,900,000 barrels in 2002. After that, the data grew significantly, reaching 2,300,000 barrels in 2004.

Regarding Congo, 270,000 barrels of oil were produced every day initially, but by 2004, the figure had decreased dramatically to 200,000 barrels. In contrast, the quantity of oil production in both Ivory Coast and Chad witnessed a climb: while there was an almost sevenfold growth in Ivory Coast, soaring from only 8,000 barrels to 55,000 barrels, Chad did not begin to produce oil until 2003, with each day producing 15,000 barrels, and the figure for the last year was 50,000 barrels.
