Bài viết mẫu IELTS Writing Task 2 dạng Opinion Essay
Introduction
With modern technology applied widely in the workplace, some claim that compared with older counterparts, it is far easier for young people to seek employment. Personally, there is no justification for this statement because experience is of greater significance and older people can also have a command of new technologies.
Body Paragraph 1
The main reason why I do not believe that the younger generation can be more easily provided with opportunities to secure a job than older people is that expertise and experience play a more crucial role when problems need to be resolved at work. For example, when a business company is confronted with an economic plight, senior staff with sufficient industrial knowledge and experience can offer effective solutions; the influence of technology, however, is minor. Similarly, school teachers can make use of their experience they have accumulated over the years to assist students in achieving better academic results. It is apparent that having the ability to use modern equipment is not the factor determining whether people can find a job easily.
Body Paragraph 2
Additionally, older people have the facility to learn how to utilise modern electronic devices. Although it is a fact that older people may sometimes have difficulty in understanding the way to use technological equipment, this does not necessarily mean that never will they make it if they are willing to learn. Meanwhile, technologies in the workplace cannot be too complex and elusive in the majority of areas, meaning that being able to use these devices does not require older people much time.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I strongly disagree that young people are more likely to find work in an environment where new technologies are around than older people. This is because senior workers’ field knowledge and experience is an asset to a company in coping with a variety of issues; meanwhile, older employees undoubtedly own the ability to use cutting-edge technologies.
