Introduction
The bar chart compares the ratio of males in a certain nation who either prefer watching sports events or participating in them.
Overview
Overall, most sports events have more male spectators than participants. Fishing is the most popular sports event in which males would like to take part, while it is the last event they enjoy watching.
Body paragraph 1
As is shown in the chart, nearly half of men in this country (40%) enjoy watching football, followed by those who watch basketball and horse riding and racing with approximately 36%. By contrast, fishing is the least popular sports event in which they prefer to be the audience (13%). It can also be seen that an equal proportion of men regard rugby and badminton as their favourite sports programmes, accounting for roughly 27%.

Regarding the sport’s participants, 50% of males take fishing as their first choice, while the proportion of those who would like to try football is the lowest (11%). Interestingly, the percentages of males joining in basketball and badminton are the same, making up 25% respectively. This figure is slightly higher than the proportion of male participants in rugby and horse riding and racing, at roughly 20%.
