The charts below show average hours that 15-year-old boys and girls spent on homework and their average grades in the UK in 2017. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Introduction
The two bar charts illustrate how many hours boys and girls aged 15 years old in the UK allocated to doing their homework and what grades they achieved in 2017.
Overall
Overall, more boys spent no more than 6 hours finishing homework, while more girls distributed at least 7 hours; meanwhile, the percentage of girls who were graded A and B was higher, but more boys got other grades.
Body paragraph 1
In the first chart, around 5% of boys and 3% of girls did not accomplish homework. Boys spending 1-2 hours and 3-4 hours constituted approximately 15% and 20% respectively, but girls represented roughly 13% and 18% separately. Noticeably, almost 40% of teenagers, regardless of genders, used 5-6 hours to do homework. In contrast, compared to 25% of girls allotting 7-14 hours to learning, the figure for boys was 20%. It took some 8% of girls and 2% of boys over 15 hours to finish homework.
Body paragraph 2
Regarding the second chart, while approximately 8% of girls got A, only around 1% of boys had the same achievement. The figure for girls graded B was just over 40%, twice higher than that for boys, at 20%. The percentage of boys and girls getting C was similar, at around 40%. Just under 40% of boys and around 15% of girls were categorised into the D group and there were very few students attaining the lowest grade.
