Bài viết mẫu IELTS Writing Task 1 dạng Table
Introduction
The table presents statistics of patient numbers, the average number of days patients spend in hospitals, and the total number of hospital beds available. These statistics are provided for the UK, the US, and Australia.
Overview
The overall trends are clear; all regions show that the number of patients requiring treatment as well as the total beds available have increased in the twenty years since 1980.
Body Paragraph 1
Starting with the number of patients, from 1980 to 2000 these figures have climbed by 60 thousand in the UK, 35 thousand in the US, and 10 thousand in Australia. While the trend is consistent across regions, patient numbers in Australia peaked at 100 thousand in 1990 and then actually decreased to 90 thousand patients in 2000.
Body Paragraph 2
Jumping to the statistics on numbers of hospital beds, all three regions boosted their number of hospital beds by 2000 units. Topping the lot, in the year 2000, the US had a total number of 17,000 hospital beds. Finally, all regions achieved a reduction in the number of days patients spent in hospital. Quite remarkably, Australia was able to reduce its 1980 figure by a whole third, leading to a 1 to 7.5 bed-to-patient ratio in 2000.
