The key to solving environmental problems is simple: present generations must have a less comfortable life for the sake of future generation. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Introduction
It is true that problems related to environmental degradation are burgeoning day by day and some of those problems are caused by the luxurious lifestyles of people living in contemporary society. Although it therefore seems reasonable for current people to compromise their way of life, I personally believe that such sacrifice is not advisable.
Body Paragraph 1
Admittedly, less comfortable life might contribute to solving environmental problems and could thus benefit future generations. After all, people’s daily life activities are the major contributing factors in many environmental threats. For example, modern people are using a large amount of packing to carry shopping home. This is allowing them to embrace the convenience of life, but at the same time also exerting pressure on the natural settings as such convenience is indeed at the cost of natural resources and white pollutions. Should current people sacrifice this comfort by reducing the use of packing, an easier life for the future generations could be expected.
Body Paragraph 2
On the other hand, however, I believe modern people should not feel obliged to compromise their comfortable life or even make any changes for the sake of future generations. The major reason for this argument is the ethical concern as I do not see any moral or legal responsibility of any individuals or communities to make sacrifice for others. Even though this practice is beneficial to the environment.
Body Paragraph 3
Such sacrifice by nature makes no difference with persuading modern people to inhale fresh air less frequently. Because guarantee the oxygen concentration for future generations, which is obviously far from being justifiable. Instead, there should be other more effective and persuasive solutions to environmental problems. Because high-quality life and liveable environment are not mutually exclusive.
Conclusion
In summary, despite some contributions to addressing disturbing environment issues. I tend towards the idea that asking modern people to have a less comfortable life is not a compelling suggestion.
